The Chronicles of Narnia Come to Chelsea {Wendy Grant Wedding Photography}

Fascinated by The Chronicles of Narnia as a child I was really excited to be invited to take part in a themed photo shoot in Battersea Park using C S Lewis's story as a base for our inspiration. The jam packed day was sponsored by Aspire and involved just over 40 photographers from all over the country. It was brilliantly arranged by Claudia Carter ~ a charismatic and talented photographer ~ assisted on the day by Gary Lashmar, whom was also one of the afternoon's speakers. The five models looked amazing and retained their composure despite the freezing cold wind. They wore a stunning range of dresses, shrugs and hair pieces loaned by Luella's Boudoir ~ a lovely bridal boutique in Wimbledon ~ and were styled by Julia Plant whom not only works in television and film but also does spectacular bridal makeup.

Towards the end of the shoot our group, which was led by Catherine Connor ~ one of the most inspiring women I've met in ages ~ came across a wonderful building that was just begging to be photographed so we grabbed a few urban style shots with Natasha and Hayley. As well as being a great opportunity to meet up with and work alongside fellow photographers, and listen to fantastic talks after a yummy buffet lunch at Beaufort House in Chelsea, it gave me a chance to try out some different editing techniques. These are some of my favourites from the day . . . I can't wait for Claudia's next themed photo shoot now!
