Ice the Cake First Birthday ~ Wendy Grant Photography

My new website is still being developed, which is why I'm more behind on my blogging than usual, but I couldn't resist doing this quick post from the Ice the Cake birthday party last week at The Living Room in MK. These gorgeous little treasures are from the Sugar & Lace Company! Lydia and I will be working together soon ~ I can't wait  ~ and I just loved talented make up artist Natasha's stockings :)

NEWS! Digital Negatives {Wendy Grant Photography}

Whilst my beautiful handmade fine art albums are very popular with clients I find that there's always a call for digital negatives as well. For some time now I have been looking for a better way to present them to clients and I'm very pleased to introduce you to my lovely wooden USB sticks and custom made boxes! They are going down well too. One client said 'Love the photos and even the USB stick was gorgeous'. You can also now choose to have either high resolution digital negatives of your wedding photographs, an individually designed 10x10 album that can be upgraded to a 12x12 ~ or digital negatives AND an album!

The Wedding Community's Picture of the Day! {Wendy Grant Photography}

Thank you to The Wedding Community, a great place to look if you're planning a wedding, for selecting one of my wedding photos as their Picture of the Day today! And a big thank you to my lovely clients for choosing such a fabulous venue! I'll be doing a full blog post of K and C's wedding in the next couple of weeks ~ pink shoes, miles of bunting and a pork pie cake ~ so look out for that.

Private Online Viewing Galleries a Success!

All my clients receive a CD to keep, with low resolution copyrighted images from their creative sessions. However, I also introduced password protected online viewing galleries towards the end of last year and they are so proving popular that they are here to stay! It's really easy to share the link and password with friends and family, and you can choose your own viewing style to boot! I will even create two galleries if there are some images you'd prefer not share. More info about Creative Sessions is on my website under the INFO tab.

NEW! Online Private Viewing Galleries

As I like to present my clients with their photographs within 5 working days of their session I've been stung as a small business somewhat by the additional cost of sending their proofs CD by special delivery. So I'm trying out individual password protected online galleries. After a few initial hiccups this seems to be working well and I am now offering this service for one month as well as the CD for viewing and selection that all my clients get to keep. The advantage of this system is that galleries can be shared with relatives and friends and it saves me having to queue in the Post Office . . . although I am an avid supporter of our local branch and would hate it to disappear. I'm asking clients what they think and will review this service at the end of December.

Wedding Photography Website Launched!

I'm really pleased to announce that my dedicated Weddings Photography website is up and running . . . I'll only be accepting two more bookings this year and am already being approached by prospective clients for 2010. Fabulous!

New Year . . . New Wedding Photography Website

I thought it was high time that I updated my website to bring it more into line with the Maternity, Newborn, Baby & Children's portrait photography services that I offer. And, whilst I was at it thought it would be a good idea to launch a new website dedicated to my Wedding Photography too. So come back again soon for more details on that . . . 

Although I love weddings, I only a small number each year as I like to keep the experience as fresh for me as it is for my clients. So I'm really looking forward to my first wedding of the year on Valentine's Day. What a lovely day to get married!
